This exciting trek takes place over 4 days within the Shei-Pa National Park in Taichung, Taiwan. This is an exciting exploration hike across stunning landscape of Taiwan’s most beautiful National Park!
Dabajian Mountain was First climbed by people in 1927, however it is illegal to climb the mountain today.
Throughout Taiwan’s history Dabajian Mountain has been viewed as a sacred and holy mountain. The Iconic Rock stands tall against a barren background that makes it extremely impressive to view. Formed by torrential rains and wind, the rock is mainly sandstone. It is surrounded by numerous other peaks, the most predominant including Mount Nanhuda, Mount Yize, Central Range Point, Mt. Pintian, and Mt. Mutule.
Come join this trek as a great introduction to trekking and backpacking in Taiwan. It’s also a great introduction to trekking at high altitude. The trek not extremely physically demanding, but still challenging enough to feel accomplished at the end of the day!
