Highest Mountain in Johor

Some sections require use of ropes and ladders

1 Day Trek

Gunung Ledang, also commonly known as Mount Ophir, is a mountain in the Gunung Ledang National Park, in Tangkak District, Johor, Malaysia. It is the highest mountain in Johor, and stands at 1276m above sea level.

We will be embarking on the Sagil / Lagenda trail, with steep sections and rock faces that require the use of ropes or ladders to assist the hikers.

The whole trek will take approximately 9 to 10 hours, whilst carrying a 4 to 5 kg day pack (estimate). This is a relatively physical challenging trek. Participants should have some prior experience in hiking.
